I get your point, but I do blame the other crew. We landed within minutes of each other, on the gates right next to each other nearly simultaneously. But it was a regional jet so they got done sooner. The driver told them he was there for us too and they convinced him to leave anyway.
Heck, I can top this. Once had a deadheading COMPANY crew on my transcon flight to the East Coast. The pilots were in the forward rows and their F/As were in the back of the plane.
They not only got off quickly but then took the van leaving BOTH crews behind (mine and theirs)!
Talk about dbaggery.
