Straight from the FAA. Every operator I’ve flown with has encouraged its use to lessen the effects of circadian rhythm shifts as needed.
There's some confusion out there, and it's changed over the years. These guys seem to think it can be used but with approval, and you have to use it continuously. I only ever use it to adjust my sleep cycle, and certainly have no need or desire to use it daily.
