You cannot put in for the 5hr override. You are voluntarily choosing to be a CA. And yes, you will be seat locked for 2 yrs. you will get CA pay almost immediately. Email pay comp and let them know the date you sent in for CA and were awarded it. Haven’t talked with anyone who has picked a SV yet.
