I am all for an educational issue being put out. But putting out such a communique only bolsters my assertion that the language is fuzzy. If it were not, additional verbiage explaining it would not be necessary. Comprehension and knowledge are not synonymous when it comes to our PWA. And that ain’t right.

Again, pilots should explicitly waive the three protections. Putting in preferences on a yellow slip should not automatically waive them. I learned the hard way that this is not the case, but that does not mean I got screwed due to lack of comprehension abilities.
