I personally don’t think these are for replacement. The oldest CRJ is what 18 years old. The oldest ones flying for UAL are probably 15 youngest around 10. I think it’s for the NSNB. An airline that is chasing every deal around and trying to extend the life of current airplanes and focused on efficiency is going to retire some airplanes early......I don’t buy it. I think both parties know what section 1 will look like after the contract and UAL is simply getting ready.

Just my thoughts.
