Maybe I’m out of place for saying this since I’m around his age and just a CFI... but Swayne doesn’t seem like the typical vlogging millennial douche people try to make him out to be.

I watched his Mokulele videos recently and everything he’s done has been methodical, planned, and approved by his previous airline and the FAA. I’ve seen other idiots online that haven’t even come close to the level of planning he’s clearly done. He even did some hiring opportunity video for Mokulele through his channel and got over 100 qualified apps ... he’s clearly framed himself to be desirable to airline recruiting departments and I think that’s exactly what he’s doing.

I don’t have anyone in my family who flies, and it’s kinda cool to see his career progression before I make it there myself... Again, I’m a millennial, so don’t take my word for it if the label “millennial” means my opinion is automatically worthless
