Delta pre NRA had already really ****ed these senators off, I did my part and wrote my state senator about supporting Delta way back when (they asked us too on deltanet) and I got a btfo reply.
Some of that goes back to the secondary airport that some of the state senators wanted. They were ****ed.
The Governor has stepped in but these guys are going to still look to pounce on delta. And delta will probably still poke at them. Feelings. Theyll drive things. But if I was a state senator and wanted to get at delta, one more route wouldn't be enough even if it serves the interest of a growing but not voting percentage of north atlanta residents.
Casey Cagle went from front runner, with more than twice the cash and votes to having his ass absolutely handed to him.
