The way I read that is that you're not disqualified from further consideration but that since you can't start class anytime in the next six months (through no fault of your own, since they are full) they can't extend an offer. I heard once that an airline only gets so much time with a new hire from the FAA for the new hire to get through training. Maybe that clock starts running from the time an offer would be extended? (Which is the reason for the six-month window for accepting a class date?)
Anyway, I think the email doesn't rule out further discussions and just means "stand by." I'm sure you'll hear back. Definitely let us know when they reach out again.
It's interesting because I am under the impression that other airlines in the holding company (GoJet and Trans States) are trying very hard to find pilots to fill upcoming class dates. I wonder if there's a queue so if I want a class date for 7 months out, I should get an application in now even it looks like my total time is waaay short.
