Since I commute to the ATL, I don’t mention my base, instead, I say where I live, (small town in central FL). I’m amazed at the amount of neighbors I’ve met as they exit the airplane. “So you’re the guy that flies for Delta!”

But I keep the welcome aboard PA as short as possible, because I commute and I’ve heard way too many long winded morons spewing about their military careers, total fight time, etc,etc.
