I think Glass makes you a lazy pilot and knowing the six pack will be important for another 20 years, as most first jobs are all steam gauges.
I agree, learning on glass is 100x easier just because everything is so close together and you get so much info automatically. I would trust a guy who learned in an old Cessna a s moved up to glass than a preppy UND kid who learned only on a G1000.
