- If I cross the picket line, what would happen to me (I would hate it 'cause I respect ALPA)?

- On the other hand, if I strike, am I really going to loose my job?

Seems like rough times are coming for pilots in probation, and I would really like to know what's going to happen to me so I can start sending resumes somewhere else.
It was stated somewhere (maybe in this thread) that in most if not all previous ALPA strikes, ALPA negotiated the full return of all probationary pilots. One would hope that would be the case. Maybe someone else can vouch for that.

But remember, at 9E, you're not an employee until you pass your checkride. How that impacts things may be another question.

Regardless, crossing a picket line is career suicide. Expect to be blacklisted.

Now here's an interesting question. Is continuing to show up for training classes consider to be crossing a picket line? You're not a line pilot, and you're not even an employee yet. Will ALPA protect trainees?
