Single occupancy for training. Yes they’re nice for training and mostly well located near lots of food options, including the mall of America. Additionally, the long term ones (you’ll have a few stays at them for training) have kitchenettes. Think residence inn.

On the road the hotels are all good places to get quality rest. We have a few LaQuintas or Country Inn and suites that are subpar but still acceptable, only beef most pilots have is many (maybe a half) are in more industrial / business park areas with no/limited food options besides the hotel itself. Most places will drive ya wherever you want to go within reason but it’s not the same as being able to walk.
