It really does depend on the job.
In my near decade as a part 91 corporate pilot, we had holidays off because the company was closed.
Being junior at any major gives the gift of holiday flying.
We also had a budget for contract pilots, but that was for vacation fills or days when we had multiple trips that extended our guys too much.
We have over 9000 pilots here, many have corporate experience.
