The only potentially negative thing I have heard about corporate guys is that some smaller part 91 jobs are not considered good job references in terms of background checking. They prefer guys with some other experience that have had more than one boss who can attest to their personality/flying ability. This was from a guy who works in hiring.
Plenty of corporate guys being hired. The baby of my class was 28 years old and only had corporate experience. He was also a real go getter and has a very outgoing and friendly personality.
