I had a long stretch of overseas "part 91" employment before coming to Southwest and to the People Dept's credit they worked hard to make the background check happen. It was difficult due to the time zone differences and due to the secretive nature of my former employer. However, I did have part 135 experience in the USA from over a decade ago with refs from current SWA employees, so maybe that helped.
