IAD is a CRJ base, you’ll get it in training and have no reserve. The CRJ flying there is mostly northeast, similar to the two you mentioned. However next year it could be an E175 base if Mesa gets those E175SC’s United recently ordered to replace 700’s in their UAX feed.
If United is your goal, you might go fast in Commutair’s CPP then Mesa’s. We haven’t heard of one getting hired by our CPP yet, let alone an interview.
Mesa is not as bad as people say, it’s a 121 boot camp, get in and get out.
That’s what I was wondering too, if Mesa will replace the CRJs with the newly ordered E175s. I guess we will have to wait and see!
I think flying for United would be great. But I’ve heard it’s hard to get hired by UA even with the CPP, especially if you don’t have a degree. So I’m trying to not be too picky, I be fine with working for JetBlue too.
