I stayed awake for most of LIQ last month!

Regardless, Canada and Mexico fall within the domestic category although you will receive international override (after your probie year).

International qual allows you to pick up international coded sequences (even if they are purely domestic legs) even if you are a “domestic” pilot. (I) bid status reserve can also be assigned (D) reserve trips if there are no QLA (D) reserves. It doesn’t work the other way around though.

One of the limiting factors is training for the company, and that takes guys off the line where they are desperately needed. It will happen in all bases eventually, just not anytime soon in some.

Hope that helps!
