A good chunk of our pilots hired after the IPO and prior to mid 2006 (approximately) had their strike price above what the stock was selling at for 10 years. Take a look at the historical stock price of JBLU. The only way stock options were worth anything is if the stock price was above the strike price.

Since the program was terminated around 2007, no pilot has any options left. They either exercised their options (option price lower than actual stock price), or didn't exercise them because the stock price never went above their strike, or option price.
