Well first I voted no on TA1. Second I don’t now or have I ever held any ALPA position. So not sure how it’s my concession stand.
I am just calling this MEC like I see it. They are right now pandering to the social media keyboard warriors. They are simply saying no to everything right now. They can’t do that forever. Now I do like the tougher line they are holding on scope and I was not a fan of VBs so glad to see that gone. However the manner in which they killed VB and SILs could have been handled better.
I talked to an MEC rep who said that we won’t be getting the DB back and we need to look at other options. However the MEC won’t say that out load because of the backlash they would face. By the way he was not an ATL rep.
So I am not manning any concession stand. I want more money in pay and retirement and QOL and scope in this next contract. I just don’t see this MEC delivering it anytime soon
By the way about that letter you wrote, what was going to happen when the company said to pound sand?
