Quick question for the masses. I'm transitioning fleets next month. I have 3 days of differences training in the sim but then no shadow period at all for OE on my schedule. Furthermore, the four days prior to the differences training, PBS gave me a four-day trip .


How does this play out? Obviously, I cannot fly the trip since I won't be qualified. Will I get pay/credit for the trip or will the trip just drop once the schedulers realize that I cannot fly it. I understand shadow bidding, and I also bid a long trip when I expect to do OE. Just never heard of a situation when you get a trip BEFORE your scheduled training.
