Regarding available employment opportunities, as you are probably aware, the US av industry is pretty much FUBAR right now; other than flight instructing there isn't much else going on for low time guys. You might want to also check out pprune.org. for the lowdown on Euro jobs.
2. If you want to save yourself a lot of time, and frustration from being messed around (like I encountered) then I'd suggest going elsewhere. However, if you have your heart set on the Florida location, then I'd suggest checking out Falcon Flight in Sanford, FL. Ask for a guy called Robbie; he'll get you done superfast (if he's still there, that is). I'd also suggest checking out Falcon Executive Aviation in Mesa, AZ. It's a good school with a good training program and you'll get lots of personal attention. Plus, Arizona is a great place to learn to fly.
Falcon Flight closed shop and the OP is 45 now. Wonder what ended up happening imwith him/her!
