Netjets is the closest thing to home basing with over 100 available airports to use for starting and ending your tours. It’s also the only one with 7-7 schedule availability or the Crew Choice schedules if you need to make more money. It’s also the only union shop with realistic job protection, decent health benefits, and enforceable rest and fatigue language actually on paper.
Yes, the upgrade at Netjets is retardedly long and won’t change much for a decade when the newly fossilized pilots like me start to retire. But if you get stuck, Netjets isn’t the worst place to be.
Nevertheless, if your career goal really is a major airline gig, don’t even THINK about a job in the fractional world. It just isn’t the smart thing to do.
