QOL and Pay matters because I have a family. My current job allows me to be home everyday with good pay but I'm not getting any jet experience thats over 12500, just light jet experience and tons of single engine turbine. My end goal is to come back to FedEx and hopefully it helps that I was with the company for 10 years and obviously had to leave to get my flight time. Any advice or help is appreciated.
If you’re not sold on the MAC pathway program, it may be worth researching Kalitta Air if you’re looking to add some heavy jet time to your resume. For some (not all), K4 can be very positive in terms of both comp and QOL for junior F/Os. Home basing is a nice aspect of how they do things too. Regional flying schedules can make it tough to balance work/family. Long haul freight is not for everyone though.
