The Ejet doesn’t have perpetual reserves either. I think about 24 months from doh to a line - for now. It depends on a pilots goal, if a pilots goal is being a line check airman (or 500+ hours in the left seat), flying as a CA on reserve is a way to build that time. Or, if 1,000 tpic is a goal, you start building that time. A CA on reserve does fly.

Or, if a pilot just needs the higher pay because the FO pay just isn’t enough.

We aren’t SKW where reserve pilots don’t fly.
