Flyboy, thanks for that quick math lesson. I used to work in the CVG ramp tower, and when I'd get bored, I'd start looking at aircraft routing (several CVG ramp tower agents have gone on to become Flight Controllers). Before the December '05 (or was it Dec '06?) reduction, the average daily usage of an aircraft was upwards of 11-12 hours, depending on where/how the plane was routed (I'm talking the 50s only, 40s and 70s were a little lower). We had one of the highest daily aircraft utilization numbers. Now, with the current flight schedule, daily has dropped to below 11. Next time I look at Fleetwatch, I'll do an audit and see how it turns out.
