One can be straight forward and not sugar coat their opinions without the vitriol, arrogance and condescension you have historically displayed throughout your posts.
Between one's military training and natural personality, one develops a tool box to negotiate through the various personal and professional issues that has to be dealt with. Knowing which tool and when to use it and to what degree is a very desirable trait.
