VX was ALWAYS going to end one of two ways and YES, looking at the VX Disasterous balance sheet, you guys got lucky as hell it ended the way it did. CH 7 BK would have left a mark. You ALL dodged a bullet when Tilden showed up with the bail out cash. Every single OG Alaska pilot understands this...I expect that if most VX’ers are honest with themselves, they see it that way as well.
Here we go again lol......

Because based on the early posts, the standard drivel from some of you guys is that you think that over at VX we were all wide-eyed 20 somethings who got this awesome opportunity to fly a big jet a lot earlier than we should have in our career and so we were clueless about the airline industry and its history and you guys were here to save us and educate us along the way....lol... We have merely been correcting that assertion.

As far as dodging a bullet... Many of us actually think you guys pushed us in the way of the bullet. JB and others were more than willing to 'save' us. You all showed up and spoiled the party in an attempt to save yourselves.

By the way... Maybe VX was never meant to be a long-term and ongoing concern but rather a strategic play by investors to start it, increase its value and making it attractive enough for other airlines to get into a bidding war for its acquisition and exit with a pile of cash. I'd say they played it brilliantly..

Business in America these days is not about longevity or the welfare of employees, it's about building value for shareholders. Food for thought...
