VX was ALWAYS going to end one of two ways and YES, looking at the VX Disasterous balance sheet, you guys got lucky as hell it ended the way it did. CH 7 BK would have left a mark. You ALL dodged a bullet when Tilden showed up with the bail out cash. Every single OG Alaska pilot understands this...I expect that if most VX’ers are honest with themselves, they see it that way as well.
Hey pard..... got news for ya. I was hired by Alaska.... not VX. I just haven’t spent the majority of my career buried in the PNW. As for your assertions regarding the eventual fate of VX and their pilots, by all accounts, Tilden’s descent from Sinai with bags of salvation cash was a DEFENSIVE move to prevent JetBlue from “saving” them. Given some of the disparaging comments regarding VX as a company and their pilots, combined with the new contract at JetBlue, wonder which company they WISH they’d been saved by?
