Yeah, I’m a female pilot not in uniform, asking for the jumpseat, so I must not be a pilot and asking about an FA JS. Even if I was in uniform, 50% of the time the gate agent will still assume I’m asking about the FA jump and I have to reiterate the FLIGHTDECK to them si it is heard. Another story for another day. And don’t come to any conclusions, the AirWisc guy even asks me who I work for and if I had already listed, and I tell him, “ah, isn’t it first come first serve?”
