Quite honestly, why not look into horizon or compass since you’re in the Pacific Northwest? Republic is strictly an east coast and Midwest operation with a smattering if flights out of Denver. There will never be any sort of western domicile. Commuting sucks. Commuting to reserve in LaGuardia or Newark from Seattle would be a special kind of hell that will literally suck your will to live.
I am looking at both of those. Just keeping and open mind and exploring all my options.
Commuting to a Midwest\East Coast base is certainly not my preferred option. However from what I've read, Republic seems like a decent place to go and their pay is a little better so I didn't want to discount them out of hand.
I have a fair amount of previous aviation experience (135), but am new to the 121 world and I was just wondering if anyone had tried\made this work.
