If it helps put it in perspective, nearly each and every single one of them is ex-Mesa. The Mesa Mafia as we call it, aren’t skilled enough nor do they possess the aptitude to get hired anywhere else so they stay here to terrorize us with the only thing they know and that’s the Mesa ‘**** on you’ philosophy.
They’ll say yes to ANYTHING that upper management wants just to protect their jobs, even if it screws us which it does 100% of the time. These guys could care less about us, our families, our pay or QOL.
The few people that say they love it here are the guys who only ever fly min guarantee and never tread into the murky waters of ABG. If you don’t want stress, frustration, and bitterness DONT COME HERE! If you don’t want your wife to hate you all the time because you’re constantly ****ed off about how you’re treated at work or you didn’t get the days off you needed due to ‘high demand, must work’ then DONT COME HERE!
If you’ve worked for ANY other airline in the past besides Mesa then you’ve had an exemplary experience compared to what we have. Please, please, please do yourselves a favor and don’t entertain this place as a career choice. You are a professional and there’s plenty of places that will treat you as such, be patient and go there.
Impersonating me isn’t cool. Maybe I ****ed you off because I talk a lot, or because of my corny jokes, or because I ask a lot of questions, or maybe you have so little esteem this is how you make yourself feel better. Don’t care.
Management called me to see if they could help me have a better time working here because they thought you were me. He wasn’t even that upset at the things I supposedly said. That probably makes you happy that happened but it’s not like I was in trouble. I love working here and if you think it’s so bad say it with your own voice or at least under some nameless identifier. The company guy who called me even gave me props for saying all this bad stuff and having the guts to identify myself until I told him it wasn’t me. Ironic, the compliment was for you but your actions meant it didn’t apply.
