I'd venture to say that for the common man, picking up OT in a base across the country on your days off isn't super optimal.
It's not optimal for anyone and it sucks to be honest. Commuting in the night before is pretty much a guarantee. I was just sharing how one on reserve can credit 100 hrs a month.
