ExpressJet had raised the bar continually for the regional industry, but for years they have been shot in the back by the cheaper SkyWest pilot group who grew leaps and bounds while they withered under Inc. control. Now that there is actually a sliver of hope for the ExpressJet side, SkyWest guys come out and encourage a no vote. If anything, ExpressJet should vote yes on the contract. Even if the "contingency" falls through, guess who may have become Inc's cheapest operator and possible landing location of any new flying that comes Inc's way. SkyWest pilots could have prevented this whipsaw by voting in ALPA years ago and gone single list like what was requested. Now you might get a taste of your own medicine. Maybe now you will do the right thing and push for a single list, but maybe it's too late.
