Very short-sighted in my opinion. Sure, the 900 is overall a nicer aircraft, but you’re gonna be off reserve and making money much quicker on the 200. You can even get out of NYC, if you want (who wouldn’t?)
After doing this for 2 years (and flying all 3 variants at a previous carrier), I’m so glad that I’m back on the 200. At the end of the day, QOL supersedes everything, and having FADEC and a better A/C does not come remotely close to being worth the additional 6+ months of crashpad and ready reserve for min guarantee.
YMMV though.
