Here.... I’ll take a stab:
Days Off:
Line holder - anywhere from 12 to 20 days off a month
Reserve - min 12 off (if you’re on short call reserve and commuting from central or eastern time zone plan on shortening that to around 8 - 10)
Moving reserve days: Yes.... you can. You bunch as many as six in a row. However, that is predicated on whether the day you’re trying to move will then have what THEY deem sufficient coverage. Weekdays aren’t too hard. Weekend’s more difficult. Holidays... forget about it.
Min pay on layover: There’s trip rigs. No min guarantee on layover. I’d have to look up the rig. It sucks though.... Kasher. (I don’t know if it’s actually Kasher but it always works as a reason something sucks.)
Min days on a trip: Some turns, some 2, 3, 4 trips. It varies.
Drop: Yes on dropping trips, if someone picks up. No on dropping reserve days
“Correctly”.... depends. If you’re senior enough to hold a 10 day line, live in base, drop what you don’t want, and then fly your days off for premium.... we are absolutely properly staffed.
If you are junior, on short call reserve, commute and wanna swap a sat of reserve for a week day... prob not.
