I _hate_ fake science. That is why this "no beards because of oxygen masks" is a pet peeve of mine.
I'd much rather see a policy that says "since we think clean shave looks more professional, we don't allow hipster beards here", instead of this pseudo-scientific mumbojumbo about oxygen masks.
I'm fine with banning beards, I just don't like when science is abused for that purpose
