Well yeah you are gonna be sitting reserve in MSP for a while (if that's where you are)...The RJ's going to mesaba are coming straight out of MSP, so theres not much movement there. Also it's my understanding that there's something of a seasonal slowdown over the past few months. I'd recommend TDY to detroit. A good friend of mine has been reserve up there for a while, was hired in May...and just got a TDY line for detroit, much more livable. And just a piece of advice, don't even try complaining in the crew room about reserve, most of the senior people here sat reserve closer to a year in some cases, and at other airlines and majors its even longer. Unfortunately it's part of it. If you really want to not be reserve then go to somewhere else, go through initial new hire training all over again, deal with all the new hire BS involved....again, and be at the bottom of the list...again.
