Honestly, plan on being away the entire time..
Maybe with stuff scheduled on one or two weekends, like simulator sessions. It's possible that you might get sent home for a couple days, between ground/sim training, but you will have so much to read and study, you might wish you hadn't....it will still be study, study, study.
Yes...for a couple months your life is training...
And you are drinking from a fire house....
But when you are done...it will feel so good.
