Depends when you get to class I believe. The vacancy awards are posted around the 9th so new hires find out after that. 9/5 class found out 9/11. You turn in base sheet in day 3.

You can almost count on IND, CMH, PIT, LGA, and now possibly EWR initially. Typically can get anything other than IAH and MIA while still in training.
