I wonder how much it’ll cost then to train us on the cfm’s and what type of training it will be? Are they going to be over water certified? Acars2.0? Would they get rid of the bus completely or all the 319’s if they got a NSNB?
Well, V2500/CFM difference training could be done with a one hour pay credit takeoff learning video.
Do you know what engines United has on the 737?
As for overwater, does our current Airbus fleet maintain overwater certification? No? Then why would they certify it on only part of the fleet?
ACARS2.0? What's in them now? If it works now, it probably won't be changed out until the entire fleet gets harmonized with one ACARS. The Chinese aircraft have a slightly different ACARS than legacy aircraft.
