Maybe .. But just playing devil's advocate - If one party went to the NMB and said they have a legitimate offer, the NMB would be obliged to bring both parties to the table.
This could be a sign the company is struggling to hire enough pilots to staff their fleet growth plans.
This seems plausible to me but I am not getting my hopes up.
