Default BOSE A20 connectors?

Not sure if this is the correct forum, I couldn't find a "hardware" forum so selected Hangar Talk.

I've got a set of BOSE A20 with dual GA plugs ... one is TRS 1/4" for Audio Input, the other is "I don't know" as I've never seen a plug like this before ... but it's for the Mic.

I use the A20's for my student flights but I would also like to use the A20's for my home Flight simulator but the mic plug is something unique to aircraft only ... no idea why standard TRS 1/4" is not used for both audio in and mic output (that or 3 pin XLR is the common connection for most audio equipment).

I did contact BOSE support directly but they weren't much help at all, they couldn't even tell me what type of plug it was for the mic.

Anyway, my question ... is there any adapter that will let me convert whatever the A20 mic plug is to something more conventional like TRS 1/4" or 3 PIN XLR?

Cheers, Rob.

NOTE: I thought the 5 PIN XLR cable for the A20 would work but that's actually powering the headset via the two extra pins which is NOT what I would want in a home based simulator.
