The question I have is 1) Am I too old to apply and fly. 2) What are the chances of getting KBUR? 3) Would I be able to fly FO?
Hi, there!
Awesome to hear!
1. No, you are definitely not too old to fly for Ameriflight. We don't have a forced retirement age. As long as you can get a second class medical, you are good to go!
2. The changes are pretty high - if the position is open on our site, it is up for grabs by you.
3. At the moment, your TT has you at an FO position, so yes.
Looking over you flight times, you are very close to being able to come in as a Direct Entry Captain in our BE99. If that's of interest to you, we have an opening at BUR:
Captain Beech 99 Cargo Pilot - Careers At Ameriflight, LLC
You'd have to get some additional hours in some areas, but are so close: 1,200 TT, 50 ME, 500 XC (defined as point to point), 100 night, 500 PIC, 75 instrument
Hope that helps!
