Automation kills your stick and rudder skills, best to become sucky after you're at mainline. Learn to fly with the CRJ.
It's unfortunate, but it is the way of the future. Boeing is now experimenting the single pilot operation. Look up in youtube, they had a robot land a 737 simulator.
