In a sense, they are right to think it. The act of marching around company HQ doesn't amount to anything. It's how we vote for a contract and how we exert market forces in the pursuit of a good contract. Sadly, our sorry state of the contract that 70-something percent of people voted for shows how defeated this group really is.
Didn't B6ALPA just send out a cryptic email regarding misinterpretations about commuting rules? I seem to remember this was addressed prior to the vote. I guess now we live with the mistake of a poorly written contract. Time to identify these failures and get them straightened out in the next one.
No Q. Nobody mentioned in detail all of the weakness in the CBA and how the company would exploit it. It's a total surprise.
Just wait until all the guys excited about our "new" reserve system feel once they see it in action.
