There are other airlines that do this equitably every month.
Lastly, I don’t appreciate you insinuating that I want to screw anyone. I’m a commuter and don’t pick anything up anyway. I’m just thinking out loud in trying to come up with a compromise to allow real time trading and also limit people from picking up too much open time (since thet seems to be the embedded culture here). Can you think of a way to have real time trip trading and not screwing pilots over in whatever way you think it will screw them?
It was a rhetorical you. Why you assume I am against real time trip trading is unknown to me. I am all for it. Let me summarize.
I am for a maximum split between high and low lines.
I am against allowing guys to pick up trips with only far limitations.
I think the make up bank is the way to manage these things and control the “Wolfpack” amongst us.
The company appears to have shifted to an overmanning mode; if the amount of available open time is any indication.
