Except...if you have a crappy trip, a proffer may not help you. You can't proffer if the trip is less than 72 hours away. And if someone can't drop their trip, they can't pick up your proffer. And people often will only pick up a proffered trip on trip pickup, so you lose the bank.

Trip proffer is a definite positive, however, better would be no bogus airport/hotel standbys that don't get filled, and more flexibility to drop. You would think the company would learn by now that sick calls go way up when they disallow drops and trades.
