I will admit that I have not paid to much attention to the future plans of our EFB's. However, I was one of the original testers of the Endeavor EFB's and back then the plan was to enable the wifi on the 2nd generation of EFB's. I think we have one more year until the company starts to replace our current EFB's.
This is a software configuration issue, not hardware availability. Why would the generation of EFB have any bearing on the display of Own Ship. It is just not enabled. If mainline has enabled it, maybe we can get it too...is there a way to check rather than just going with a long term plan overcome by events?
