Clearly you miss understood my question. I am talking about a new hire. If a new hire class starts on the same day and there is a group of people they all can not have the same seniority number. How are those guys on the same start date broken down?
Actually, pilot golfer's answer still applies. The same-day class of newbies has their seniority number based on seniority... and by that I mean age seniority. Youngest guy/gal in the class is the most junior... So the elders pick what's available... the young get what's left.
