All potential new hires, remember you are also interviewing the company and seeing if it is a good fit. They need you, and are trying to "sell" you the job. Remember most of them if not all are not pilots, their job is to get pilots in the door.
I hear they are telling those that are interviewing that they can flow in 3-5 years. Unless the flow is dramatically altered that is a flat out lie. There are 40 lifers at most, and we are flowing 6 per month with no growth in sight. We actually shrank this month.
Most pilots are getting 11 days off for barely over 75 hours credit. Please ask the interviewer to show you both the initial bid and the final bid for a previous month. You will see lines that were a measly 13 days off truly end up being 11 days off.
Ask the recruiter how fast you can reasonably expect to actually fly and start building 121 time. As discussed currently it's still around 9 month for most new hires.
Think about how much closer to upgrade you will be at other airlines.
Know your value as a professional pilot. Do not settle for substandard QOL and pay.
